Alexia without Agraphia

One of the craziest elements of my Brain Hemorrhage was after coming out of the coma, I could barely speak as I had a tracheotomy, so I whispered and motioned to my wife for a pen and paper.  I then wrote out 3 questions that I had for the doctor as we were having a meeting later that day to go through the list of what I needed to do to "Go home".  I wrote out 3 items, looked at it and couldn't read a single stitch of what I just wrote!
